This colorful, thin little hardcover is one of far too few books on the keeping of softbills. The first half covers general care of softbills, the second describes 50 of the supposedly more popular species in aviculture. The species accounts do cover all the most essential basics, but still feel too brief.
It is illustrated with good quality color photos and is glossy paper throughout. Given the scarceness of books devoted to keeping softbills, this is still a worthy purchase for a bargain price.
